The idea to produce a recycled glass surface was first conceived in 1997 and became the focus of an in depth research collaboration looking at uses for waste glass.

Resilica founder Gary Nicholson and Glass Professor Jim Roddis, worked with a University Research Department, the Arts amp; Humanities Research Board, a specialist resin manufacturer and the Dti. After four and a half years of development and rigourous external testing Resilica* was the outcome.

Resilica is produced to the highest standards and has been continuously perfected over the last twelve years.

As with all good ideas, Resilica has it’s imitators but with a proven track record and superior quality it remains the UK’s original and leading recycled glass surface.

*Resilica was previously sold under the trade name TTURA.
