A new extension to a large victorian terraced property in Newcastle unusually had no perimeter wall worktops. For the two large island tops, we developed a colour recipe based around a warm white resin to complement the gloss doors.
The subtle glass mix was kept predominantly clear to reflect the light, with a small fleck of brown beer bottle glass to pick out the dark wood. A silver fleck was also included to catch the down lighting in the room.
